Summary

Amends the:

to: provide the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority (ASADA) Chief Executive Officer or their delegate with the power to issue a disclosure notice to compel persons to attend an interview with an investigator and to produce information and documents or things relevant to the administration of the National Anti-Doping Scheme; impose penalties for failing to comply with a disclosure notice; clarify the role of the Anti-Doping Rule Violation Panel; provide that conflict of interest provisions apply to matters relating to activities of the panel or the Australian Sports Drug Medical Advisory Committee; and clarify that the eight-year statute of limitations specified in the World Anti-Doping Code applies in Australia’s anti-doping arrangements; and and to enable Australia Post to share information with ASADA.
